March 2020.
During the first and second quarters of 2020, NatuEra’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Colombia successfully completed its first exports to the United States of federally-compliant hemp-derived CBD distillate manufactured at its fully-licensed, state-of-the-art, GMP-designed cultivation and extraction facility, strategically located 25 miles from Bogota. These test exports were conducted for R&D and business development purposes under a Certificate of Non-Control issued by Colombia’s Narcotic Control Board.
“The successful completion of four exports of CBD distillate to the United States over the past few months is a remarkable operational milestone for NatuEra. It speaks very highly of our team’s ability to produce and deliver CBD distillate bulk products in compliance with all applicable regulations and in conformance to world-class technical specifications. At NatuEra we know that this nascent industry is all about breaking down boundaries and it’s exciting to open up this new trade route to offer our hemp-derived bulk products in the United States, which is the largest CBD market in the world”, says Nicolas Nannetti, CEO of NatuEra.
As a producer of essential products with a comprehensive biosecurity protocol compliant with applicable regulations, NatuEra has remained operational throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
