05 November 2020. During the month of August 2020, NatuEra’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Colombia successfully completed its first export to the United Kingdom of hemp-derived CBD distillate, manufactured at its state-of-the-art, cultivation and GMP-designed extraction facility, strategically located 25 miles from Bogotá. 05 November 2020. During the third quarter of 2020, NatuEra’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Colombia was awarded a total of four R&D quotas by the Colombian government to cultivate cannabis and manufacture cannabis-derived products at its fully-licensed state-of-the-art, vertically-integrated production facilities, strategically located 25 miles outside of Bogota.  The permits issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Justice and Law include one cultivation quota to conduct field trials and characterize psychoactive cannabis cultivars, one cultivation quota to conduct R&D related to the manufacture of psychoactive cannabis derivatives, and two R&D manufacturing quotas to analyze and characterize cannabis-derived THC bulk products. “NatuEra is fully-licensed to cultivate and manufacture psychoactive cannabis products in Colombia and we’re delighted to have been granted these R&D quotas from the Colombian government, which will allow us to evaluate and register proprietary cannabis cultivars, as well as to compile valuable data for…

March 2020. Bogotá, Colombia. – 12 March 2020. Less than six months after breaking ground, NatuEra successfully completed the construction of its state-of-the-art, GMP-designed cultivation, extraction and processing facilities. With over 50 guests, including all company employees, members its Board of Directors and its founders, NatuEra celebrated its official opening and the commencement of its operational and commercial activities with an event held on 12 March 2020, in which it launched its corporate culture and conducted guided tours of the facility, located less than an hour away from Bogotá’s International Airport.

During the third annual general assembly of Asocolcanna, Colombia’s leading medicinal cannabis trade association, NatuEra was elected to the Board of Directors for the 2020-2022 term. Bogota, Colombia.- 02 October 2019. Following the receipt of all applicable licenses and permits, NatuEra broke ground to mark the start of the construction of its GMP-designed hemp and cannabis cultivation and extraction facilities in El Rosal, Cundinamarca. Strategically located 13 km from Bogotá, less than one hour away from El Dorado Airport, the facilities are projected to include over 270.000 square feet of cultivation area, as well as post-harvest, extraction, processing plant and administrative offices. El Rosal is located in the fertile lands of Bogotá savanna, with natural conditiond ideally suited for sustainble sungrown hemp and cannabis.

Bogota, Colombia. – 09 May 2019. In March 2019, NatuEra, The Cronos Group’s joint venture Contract Manufacturing Organization,received a license from the Colombian Ministry of Justice and Law to cultivate psychoactive cannabis for the production of seeds for cultivation, the production of grain, and the manufacture of derivative products. NatuEra intends to develop, cultivate, manufacture and export cannabis-based medical and consumer products for the Latin American and global markets. NatuEra is the cannabis industry’s first Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) in Latin America; it plans to allow the growing number of cannabis brands to outsource cultivation and manufacturing.
